Vestya ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal data when you use our platform at vestya.net.

What Data We Collect

We collect the following personal data when you use Vestya:

  • Name and account credentials
  • Email address
  • Property information (addresses, descriptions, status)
  • Documents you upload (deeds, contracts, invoices, photos)
  • Financial records (expenses, income, payment information)

How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to provide and improve the Vestya service:

  • Providing the core service — managing your properties, tasks, documents, and finances
  • Sending transactional emails (invitations, notifications, password resets)
  • Maintaining the security and integrity of your account

Data Storage

All data is stored within the European Union. We use Supabase (EU West region) for our PostgreSQL database and S3-compatible object storage for uploaded files. Your data never leaves the EU unless you explicitly choose to share it.

Third-Party Services

We use a limited number of third-party services to operate Vestya:

  • Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • Vercel — application hosting and deployment
  • OpenStreetMap / Nominatim — geocoding for property addresses (no personal data is sent, only addresses)

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion of your account, we will permanently remove all your personal data within 30 days. Backups containing your data are purged within 90 days of deletion.

Your Rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:

  • Right of access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
  • Right to erasure — request deletion of your personal data
  • Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
